A portion of Cold Springs Road in Placerville will be shut down Tuesday morning after a car crashed into a power pole.
The collision occurred at 5:03 a.m. Tuesday. The power pole was knocked down, but the power lines remain intact, according to an online California Highway Patrol traffic incident report.
Cold Springs Road, between Placerville Drive and Coolwater Creek Road, will be closed for an undetermined amount of time, a Traffic Management Center dispatcher said.
