An assembly line of Cub Scouts, paired with smiling faces and lots of giggling, helped deliver a mountain of toys to Marshall Hospital Sunday as part of the CHiPs for Kids program.
Scouts from Pack 86 loaded two California Highway Patrol vehicles to the top with toys for every taste - from a fairy tale princess doll to a Star Wars' themed Mr. Potato Head to cuddly stuffed animals to a skateboard and helmet.
“I'm really pleased at the turnout,” said CHP officer Sean Ricci. “This office has easily obtained 1,000 toys.”
