The El Dorado County Sheriff's Department says it has ended its investigation into an alleged sexual assault on the campus of Ponderosa High School because they do not have enough evidence to go forward.
The alleged attack happened earlier this week after a teacher found a teenage girl unconscious in the girl's bathroom.
Today deputies announced that after several days of investigation and interviewing the victim three times, they are no longer treating the case as a sexual assault.
