Marshall Medical Center will offer a four-week workshop providing a comprehensive overview of diabetes and its treatment from 6 to 9 p.m. starting Monday, continuing Wednesday, July 16 and 18 in the Cameron Park area. Registration is required and the cost is covered by most insurance plans, including Medicare, with a doctor's referral.
A seven-week smoking cessation program also will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. starting Monday at 681 Main St., Suite 100, Placerville. Class cost of $30 per person or $50 per couple, is refundable after successfully completing all classes. Registration is required.
