December 15, 2008 at 5:15 AM, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a female (later identified as Daina Cullen) who reported she had just shot a male subject. Deputies arrived at the 2500 block of Mortara Circle in Placerville and located a 63 year old male subject with a gunshot wound to his chest. The victim was transported to UC Davis Hospital for treatment. The 59 year old suspect, Daina Cullen was located on the property and arrested. The suspect and victim knew each other and lived in separate residences on the same piece of property. The suspect was later booked into county jail for attempted homicide and is being held without bail.
