A day of remembrance for those who have died serving our country - EDC Veterans Monument "To honor those who have served the cause of freedom" The 2008 annual Memorial Day Ceremony includes presentation of colors, fly-over salute, guest speaker, wreath-laying service by Veterans groups, and the unveiling of a engraved granite bench honoring Mathew Taylor USA, who died of his wounds received in Iraq . Ceremony starts a 11:00AM, Monday May 26, 2008 at the EDC Veterans Monument, 360 Fair Lane, Placerville

My family and I are grateful for all of the Soldiers that have served and paid the ultimate price. We "THANK" God everyday for you and your families. As a gold star family we know first hand what pain and sacrafice the families make when they lose their soldier. GOD BLESS all the soldiers and their families of the who currently service and for those soldiers and families who have lost their soldier.
