El Dorado Hills Burglary Suspect Arrested

November 12, 2007, El Dorado County Sheriff’s deputies located Leo Morris (26 yrs) sitting in his vehicle just after 0340 hours. During the contact with Leo Morris, Sheriff deputies determined that Leo Morris was possibly involved in criminal activity. As the investigation continued it was determined that Morris was in a stolen vehicle, was in possession of stolen property and possessed burglary tools.

Deputies contacted the owner of the stolen property, who resided not far from the deputies’ location. Upon contacting the owner of the stolen property it was discovered that his vehicle had been broken into and the recovered property had come from his vehicle.

Leo Morris was arrested and booked into El Dorado County Jail for being in possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, and parole violation. Leo Morris is currently on parole for burglary and is a resident of Orangevale, Ca
