An illegal campfire most likely spawned the large and destructive Angora fire that swept the South Lake Tahoe area, fire investigators said late Friday.
The location of the fire's origin had been pinpointed earlier in the week: a picturesque spot in the woods with a pond and a rock outcropping where people enjoy gathering.
