An El Dorado Hills man, carrying six knives strapped to his body, said he wanted to borrow a friend's car to kill someone but instead he ended up in jail, deputies said.

According to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, Norman Lynn Gee, 44, was picked up for possession of a concealed weapon on April 25 around 5 p.m. on Valley View Parkway in El Dorado Hills.

Gee had contacted a friend and asked to borrow her car so he could kill someone, deputies said. The friend feared for her safety and called deputies, who contacted Gee nearby and held him at gunpoint.

Gee was searched and six knives, some as long as 8 inches, were discovered strapped to his person, the report said. Deputies also noticed a strong odor of alcohol in his breath.
