The Friends of the El Dorado County Veterans Monument are sponsoring and planning the 2008 annual Memorial Day Ceremony. The Ceremony includes a presentation of colors, fly-over salute, guest speaker, wreath-laying service by Veterans groups and the unveiling of an engrave d granite bench honoring Mathew Taylor USA, who passed away due to injuries received while serving in Iraq. This year’s Ceremony will be on Monday, May 26 at 11:00 AM at the El Dorado County Veterans Monument.
