Moo am I ?

Milkshake The Cow Has Identity Issues.  Milkshake the cow spent the first two years of her life confined to a small, filthy pen before being rescued. During the two years spent in confinement, Milkshake never learned to become a cow.

At The Grace Foundation it isn't unusual to walk into the office or classroom and find yourself staring face to face with 1,200 lb. Hereford known as "Milkshake." Having spent the first two years of her life locked in a filth-strewn 10x10 pen, isolated from outside contact, Milkshake never learned basic cow behavior.

Milkshake is one of the 47 animals rescued in April 2008 from Somerset, CA. Please take a look at the footage to get a sense of this wonderful human interest story

Please help Milkshake and her friends.  "I happen to know about this foundation and believe me, they do incredible work. I also know that times are tough for non-profits right now, but if you can donate even a couple bucks, I know they'd really appreciate it."

The Grace Foundation of Northern California is an equine rescue and rehabilitation facility located in El Dorado Hills of Northern California. We provide critical care and rehabilitation for abused and neglected horses and utilize our rescued horses for equine assisted learning and therapeutic programs for youth and children. Our purpose is to protect, care for and heal these two important groups - children with special emotional and physical needs and abused and neglected animals. We believe healing is possible when it's carried out in a loving nurturing environment.
