The Placerville City Council voted Tuesday to allocate $3,500 in city promotional funds for the 2006 Arts on Parade project.
Downtown business owner Barbara Holmes, who introduced the event this year, said artists and sponsors have approached her about doing it again.
For the 2005 Wheelbarrows on Parade, artists decorated wheelbarrows, which were displayed around town during the summer, then donated to nonprofits to auction off.
