CASA Art Winners Announced

Art winners of the Court Appointed Special Advocates of El Dorado County annual greeting card design contest were announced at an awards reception in November at the organization's office.

The work of Dana Aros, 10, of Placerville and Mark Pan, 15, and Alexandra Kramer, 13, both of El Dorado Hills, was selected out of 25 entries received in El Dorado County. Dana and Pan won in the holiday cards division, and Kramer won in the all-occasion division. Dana attends Herbert Green Elementary School in Placerville. Pan and Kramer both attend Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills.

Each year, the organization invites young artists nationwide to participate in the greeting card design contest fundraiser. This year, more than 300 entries were received nationally. Selected designs are printed and put on the Web site for public purchase.
