WORKSHOP FOR THE
U.S HWY 50 / PONDEROSA ROAD / SOUTH SHINGLE ROAD
INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The County cordially invites you to attend a public workshop to discuss issues regarding the above interchange, including the nearby local roads of Wild Chaparral Drive, North Shingle Road, Durock Road, Sunset Lane and Mother Lode Drive. The purpose of this project is to improve current traffic operations
and provide additional capacity for forecasted growth. The project is currently
in the planning and environmental analysis phase.
The intent of the workshop is to present
information on the project, provide an opportunity for public input and answer
your questions. The County will consider public comments as the features and
scope of the project are developed. Therefore, your input is critical to the
success of this project.
For your convenience, two (2) Public Workshops for this project will be conducted. The format of the workshop will include a brief overview of the project by the County followed by an informal, open forum for public comment. The meetings will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the El Dorado County Planning Commission Hearing Room, 2850 Fairlane Court, Placerville, CA 95667.
