Believe it or not the 2008
Annual Re-Ride is just around the corner. Ride Sign Ups will be held at the April 19 meeting. Any new member who joins after April 19 will still need to qualify and will be assigned a ride by Ride Captain Rich Tatman.
As a member of NPEA all riders have an obligation to pick a ride. When your name is called to pick a ride make sure that you and your horse are capable to make the ride selected. If you wish to double up with another rider, you may do so (with their permission) after making your original selection.
If you “pass” when your name is called, this means that you do no intend to ride this year and your name will not be called again during this ride selection.
It is not too early to start conditioning yourself and your horse for this most important event. Annette Nylander reminds everyone to log your practice rides as Trial Miles. Every mile counts.

Ride Sign Ups
Ranked among the most remarkable feats to come out of the 1860 American West, the Pony Express was in service from April 1860 to November 1861. Its primary mission was to deliver mail and news between St. Joseph, Missouri, and San Francisco, California.
