I would like to personally invite you to join Folsom Lake College this Fall. If
you are interested in finding a college that helps you reach your educational
goals - whatever those goals may be - please consider Folsom Lake College.
We provide a friendly, student-centered environment designed to help
everyone succeed.
If you are not ready to take classes this Fall, we have other ways for you to
get involved.
One way is to attend a special event. We have a variety of activities
planned this year, like open houses (including a special 1-year anniversary
of the Cameron Park Rotary Community Observatory near our El Dorado
Center in Placerville), fall festivals, theater performances, International Day,
and more. The web calendar on the college’s homepage will have all of this
information. I encourage you to check out the calendar and save a date or
two - and check back regularly, as we add more events.
You can also arrange for a campus tour. We are very proud of our beautiful
campuses and are always glad to provide tours. Call us at 916-608-6589
to arrange for a guided visit.
I wanted to mention two exciting developments. If you visit the Folsom
campus this Fall, you’ll notice construction. This construction is for the first
permanent Physical Education facilities on this campus - and we are very
excited! This construction was made possible thanks to the support of local
voters, who recently approved a statewide bond measure that included our
PE facilities. While the facilities aren’t scheduled to open until Spring 2009,
I am certain you will see progress this Fall.
