10 - 14U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from the Placerville Drive on-ramp to east of Bedford Avenue: Work continues on a $35 million project to improve U.S. Highway 50 through central Placerville. This project is now complete.
U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from the Sacramento County line to Bass Lake Road: Work has begun on a $31 million project to add bus/carpool lanes to U.S. Highway 50 in south El Dorado County. Completion is expected in the fall of 2011.
On U.S. Highway 50 from Sacramento County line to Bass Lake Road: Motorists can expect various east and westbound lane and ramp closures at various locations from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. (8 a.m. on eastbound) Monday through Friday nights. A contractor is scheduled to do miscellaneous construction work.
