PLACERVILLE . INFO

As part of the Latrobe Road and White Rock Road Projects, the following are closures which will affect area traffic:

Latrobe Road

7-26-08 - Saturday - Latrobe Road will be closed from Suncast to Golden Foothill Parkway (Entrance 3) from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm for drainage crossing work. Detour will be provided. Detour Map [.pdf]

8-02-08 – Saturday – Latrobe Road will be closed from Suncast to Investment (Entrance 2 to Entrance 4) from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm for drainage crossing work. Detour will be provided.

(Note: Potentially – there will be construction work each weekend in August)

White Rock Road

7-22-08 - Tuesday - 7:00 pm to 7:00 am - Traffic Control (flagging) will be in place to re-stripe White Rock Road between Latrobe Road and Monte Verde Drive. New striping will temporarily reduce traffic to one lane in each direction.

8-2-08 - Saturday - 7:00 am to 7:00 pm - Traffic Control (flagging) will be in place to pick up Temporary Traffic Barriers between Windfield Way and Bailey Circle on White Rock Road.

8-6-08 - Wednesday - 7:00 pm to 7:00 am - Traffic Control will be in place to shift traffic on White Rock Road to a temporary alignment on the new roadway. As part of this shift, Windfield Way will be closed from August 6 through September 11. 

As with any construction project, dates are subject to change. Modifications will be displayed on traffic messaging boards and posted on the Department of Transportation’s website:
